The trick is to judge when muscles look toned and healthy before turning into a muscle bound freak show. Light weights and reps (repetitions) with a day off recovery between workouts is a good way to proceed.

A top New Year resolution and an addiction for some - gym and gym training are a popular hobby. Various instruments of torture are available - running and rowing machines, weight benches and sadistic instructors.
"Feel the burn" they used to shout out.
Popular nicknames for gym addicts and workout freaks are gym bunny and gym rat.

Hot Yoga
Hot Yoga is like yoga but hot.
Not hot in terms of fit ladies bending and stretching. although it is that, but hot in terms of the heat in the room.
The idea being to raise the temperature and allow the body to bend and stretch more.

Hula Hooping
A cheap and fun way to relax and improve fitness is hooping or hula hooping.
The idea is to keep the hoop revolving by shaking, twisting and generally moving your body around.
There is a knack to it - a certain wiggle that keeps the thing from falling to the ground.

Jogging
A cheap way to stay fit and pass some time is jogging. Slow-paced running or trotting with headphones, drink and maybe a dog in the park.
Relaxing and good for you.
Note - small dogs may not be able to keep up. Large dogs may leave you behind. Try to match your speed with the requirements of the animal. Cats... forget it.

Kettlebells
